Product Marketing Manager
Location: EMEA - Americas
Duties and Responsibilities
- Management of existing product propositions: developing, enhancing, launching and supporting the delivery of existing product propositions, analyzing the effectiveness of these products, identifying opportunities and responding to them.
- New product propositions: providing input for new product development initiatives by obtaining and analyzing market and competitor information, identifying market opportunities and driving the development of new products and services to address the market needs.
- Commercial relationships: supporting the development and delivery of product propositions, marketing and commercial plans.
- Communication: ensuring effective two way communication with the global sales force and external parties, such as customers, press, PR, design agencies and analysts, to support the positioning of existing and new products and propositions.
- Market propositions: identification, proposal, approval and launch of a new proposition or renewed focus on existing proposition.
- Customer engagement: engage on decision-making / influencing level with consultative selling approach.
- Pricing: continuously ensure market-conformity of pricing together with Product Management .
- Sales Material: market engagement strategy, key messages, sales and marketing presentation, fact sheet, white papers, business cases, competitive positioning, sales guide, product description, testimonials.
- Events & PR: press releases, internet / intranet, speaking at high-profile events, creation of magazine articles, analyst & press interviews, web hosted seminars and newsletters.
- Market intelligence: update of the global market success of the service, the proposition itself and competition.
- Develop compelling product positioning to differentiate Airwide products from competition, and address target segment business needs.
Qualifications & Experience
- Essential
:
- Graduate education level in Marketing, Business Management or Telecommunications Engineering
- Minimum 3 years experience in marketing of products with regards to Messaging and Mobile Internet
- 5+ years experience in mobile comms (cellular) sector
- 3+ years product marketing experience in B2B industry
- Excellent written and oral English communication skills
- Excellent presentation skills
- Experience interfacing with technical product teams, and sales teams.
- Experience developing customer case studies
- Experience developing sales tools.
- Desirable

- Copy writing
- Experience with media and analysts
- Mobile Content Provider experience
- Previous experience in hi-tech, small or start-up environment

- Since the marketing organization is distributed, this position requires an individual with strong attention to detail, self-motivated, strong organizational skills, strong time management skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- The role requires some travelling, local and international (UK/US/Canada), expected to average around 15 days per quarter.
