Software Solution Specialist
Location: Espoo, Finland
Duties and Responsibilities
- To carry out solution support and maintenance activities
- Drive the resolution of support cases requiring specialist knowledge
- Work to define and diagnose issues by applying technical expertise, product knowledge, and communication and problem solving skills.
- Ensuring that the Service Level Agreements (SLAs) between the customer and Airwide are fulfilled through proper case management.
- Carrying out testing and running diagnostics related to specific customer solution
Qualifications & Experience
Essential:
- Good understanding of the following subjects:
- Unix and Linux
- Sun Solaris, HP-UX
- TCP/IP networks
- Programming experience
- Shell scripting/Perl
- Java
- Troubleshooting skills
- Ability to communicate in English
Desirable:
- Oracle database administration skills
- Understanding of messaging applications
- basic knowledge about sms & mms protocols
- Good knowledge about http
Skills and Competencies
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Understanding of software processes
- Ability to work under pressure
Special Features
In this role a person is expected to participate to specialist on-call rotation.
Although rare, there may be occasions where there is a need to travel for short periods (days) of time.
