Technical Support Engineer (TSE)
This role is based in Airwide’s Office in Gurgaon, India and reports to the India Operations Manager.

The principal job function of the Technical Support Engineer is to provide after-sales implementation for the Airwide Solutions product portfolio. The role of TSE involves timely project deployments, product support and O&M to achieve high levels of customer satisfaction.

It is a highly customer facing role & requires frequent interactions with telecom operator’s projects & operations teams for all technical issues around the Airwide deployments & support and troubleshooting applications. The role holder will be independent, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.

Customer Operations Engineer
Reading, UK

Airwide Solutions is global mobile telecoms organization.   Airwide Solutions works within the messaging (SMS/MMS/EIR) market place worldwide.

The customer operations engineer will work within the EMEA Operations team based in Reading and will be responsible for installing, upgrading and supporting messaging products.

The engineer will be assigned at any given point in time either to support activities or to a delivery project. They will be report to the Support Team Leader or a Deliveries Project Manager depending on which type of work they are assigned to. The delivery work will require the engineer to travel to customer sites usually in Europe, the Middle East or Africa but occasionally in the rest of the world. 

It is expected that, after a period of training, this engineer will initially focus on support activities.

The engineer will need to be technically strong, be able to assimilate new concepts quickly and be prepared to work in situations where they are learning as they work. They must be good at dealing with peers, other teams within the Airwide Solutions’ organisation and the customer’s technical staff. The engineer will need to be able to work under pressure and must be prepared to work beyond the normal  working day in order to complete work to tight time constraints or meet the needs of the customer.

Airwide Solutions is a leading global provider of next generation mobile messaging and mobile security software and solutions to mobile operators worldwide.  Its core products include a SMSC (Short Message Service Center), next generation SMS Router, Multimedia Gateways and Storage, next generation MMS as well as AntiSpam/AntiSpoof and EIR (Equipment Identification Register) solutions.

With over 150 Customers Worldwide, Airwide Solutions has a terrific opportunity to leverage growth in bookings and revenue with the existing base as well as growing into new accounts.

The principal objective of the role is the management of customer support services to Airwide customers. This involves day to day managed of the 1st and 2nd line support teams within the region. This requires the Operations Support Manager to maintain strong working relationships with customers and internal key business stakeholders
